Colrain Sale Prices Range From $12,500 To $100,000 This Period

Six deeds recorded in Colrain from Sept. 4 to Oct. 3, but only two carried a recorded sale price: $12,500 and $100,000, for a median of $56,250 based on those two sales. The period's most notable transaction was 21 Stranahan Drive, which sold for $100,000 on Sept. 14, with Franklin First Federal Credit Union and Greylock Federal Credit Union listed as buyers. The remaining four sales, including properties on Thompson Road, Main Road, Hillman Road and Ed Clark Road, have not yet posted prices in registry records. Several transfers involved shared-surname or trust parties. With most prices still pending, the data does not support characterizing the market as active or slow this period.
