Colrain sees 11 recorded deeds in past month; most sale prices not disclosed
Eleven property deeds were recorded in Colrain between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only three disclosed a sale price: $57,294 for 17 Coombs Hill Rd, $125,000 for 38 Ed Clark Rd and $365,000 for 66 Reils Rd, the period's top sale. The median among disclosed sales was $125,000. Six of the 11 transfers involved a bank, mortgage company or government entity as buyer or seller, including two Greenfield Savings Bank sales, and two others were transfers within the same family. With price data missing from most deeds, the available figures do not support a clear read on overall market direction this period.
