Colrain Records 11 Property Transfers, Only One Discloses a Sale Price
Franklin County Registry of Deeds recorded 11 property transfers in Colrain between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only one, 17 Coombs Hill Road, disclosed a sale price: $57,294 on July 31. That sale transferred to Amerisave Mortgage Corp. and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Coombs Hill Road was the only street with more than one recorded transfer. Several sellers were institutional, including Greenfield Savings Bank, Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency, Colrain Town Assessors and T Bank, and two transfers appear to be within the same family. With pricing data available for just 1 of 11 transactions, overall market tone for the period cannot be determined from price trends.
